Theme Show: "Layers of Abstraction" The Artist-Xchange gallery will be showcasing works that are representative of the theme "Layers of Abstraction". There will be 15-20 local San Francisco artists displaying abstract works of art. Abstraction is a continuum. The departure from accurate representation can be slight, partial, or complete. Please submit your work to the gallery as soon as possible so a decision can be made to accept or reject the submission. If you have artwork that you feel is an appropriate fit for the theme and would like to be involved in the upcoming show please submit images to the following email address. sales@artist-xchange.com There is no limit to the amount of work you can submit or have displayed in the theme show. The deadline for submissions is September 24th. All artwork for the October show must be delivered to the gallery no later than Friday September 24th at 7pm. We are available most days between the hours of 1-7pm to receive your work. If your artwork is accepted as part of the theme show. Please call ahead (415-864-1490) and let us know when you plan to bring your work into the gallery so we can ensure we will be able to assist with accepting the work into inventory. The show will run throughout the month of October with an opening reception on Friday October 1st from 7-10PM If your artwork is accepted there is a $25 fee to show for the month of October The Artist-Xchange gallery is a consignment based gallery that operates on a 50/50 split with the artist taking 50% of the retail price.
